Im trying out a tomtom xl europe that I bought the other day, decided to see what it made of the trip to work this morning.

Set out and it decided it wanted to direct me off some alternative route, I decided I didnt want to play guess who is correct, me or the computer so continued on my known route, arriving at work in a shorter distance, and quicker than the sat nav guesstimated.

Setting off home I thought id indulge it and see where it went.... and it followed the route I had taken this morning to a tee...

eeeeh.

I guess the proof will be in seeing what it says when I try it tomorrow morning, but I am slightly concerned that I may need to invest in a long overcoat, sawn off shotgun and a collection of home made bombs. Not sure I could carry it off as convincingly as Micheal Biehn

Its not a learning computer, it just likes to take a different route one way.

Somehow I feel slightly disappointed frown

I wish it would learn, though. There's one particular route back to my house that it loves to take, despite it being an absolute disaster during daylight hours because of traffic.
