I Broke my Tom Tom One

I've managed to damage the screen on my Tom Tom One Europe. Has anybody had any luck with getting these repaired or should I just buy a new one?

If I end up buying a new one can I just purchase a Tom Tom One GB 9as this is cheaper) and plug in the SD card from my broken unit?
