I am looking for a WELL made, simple sat nav. I am thinking Garmin or snooper.
I don't want MP3, photo software, phone features, just a bl00dy good sat nav with europe sotfware.
Why oh why are there so many to choose?

Any one selling these help me?
Any opinions?

Garmin Nuvi - 250 or 250W if you like widescreens (I don't so got the 250). Should be able to get it for £120-130. Best satnav I've owned.

Completely agree. I've got an earlier 360 model. A friend of mine just got one of the latest and best Garmins and he says the wide screen is a waste of time. If anything you need more height, so they should put the data at the side if they must have a widescreen. I think they only do it because it's like a 4:3 or 16:9 telly comparison. One looks more modern, but in sat-nav terms, it isn't. Also, if you do need help, Garmin are a hundred times better than TomTom.
