CoPilot Sat Nav on XDA
Discussion
Hi All
I've got an XDA Orbit with Copilot on and I'm looking to upgrade the maps to cover Europe too. Anyone had experience of doing this? Will they fit on the standard 1 gig card that it comes with? Also anyone know of a promotional code for the maps? Can buy them for £38 which i don't think is too bad but as there's a promotional code box there's gotta be one out there somewhere! (i just can't seem to find one)
Cheers

Just bought CP Live 7 for my TyTN II. It came on a 1GB micro SD which I copied onto my 8GB micro SD and it works fine. All the other maps are on the DVD that comes with it, but with the license code it should just install it.
If you look at the software it should tell you how big the new maps are.
In fact.....
Just checked, European Region is 1.26GB so I am guessing that you need a bigger microSD card.

hiin co pilot central (the program for your pc that comes with co pilot), i just went to purchase upgrades and the european maps are listed as £38. Not actually bought them yet as the 4 gig card i bought didn't work in my phone so waiting for the 2 gig one to arrive. Once it does i'll buy them and let you know if they work ok.

The thing is, microSD cards are dirt cheap, my 8GB one was 35 quid so a 2GB or 4GB should be well under 20 quid
