Downloading saved locations from GPS units
Discussion
Seemingly simple question, but internet research has not turned up what i'm looking for!
My company use GPS units for getting around, so far they are all Garmin Nuvi 200s. These are basic, but they do allow the uploading of site locations to them.
Sometimes our sales guys are going to be out in the field, and find something that's of interest. I'd like them to be able to come back and easily upload the 'points of interest' that they create while in the field. What eludes me is the best method for doing this.
Alternatively, what satnav unit allows the easy uploading of user-created points of interest, and also the easy downloading of the same?
I know that lots of what i'd call hikers gps units allow it, but these are going to be in a car almost 24/7. However, if theres a more rugged, handheld-type unit that can do this, and good for road navigation, i'd be interested!
ps if it's relevant, i'm in the USA!
