Sat Nav - software loading problems

I have a viamichelin sat nav. I recently bought this off my brother. I tried to load the CD onto my pc last night and rather far into the process I get a “registry error” and the software fails to load up.

I have spoken to my brother who thinks this error message is related to the fact that he has already loaded the software on his pc. I do not think this is the case.

Does anybody have any thoughts?
