Garmin friction mount

Are they any good? I don’t fancy sticking it on the windscreen or using the sticking mount on the dash.

If you are meaning the 'bean bag' thing that the Garmin can sit on .... then yes, they are very good. No sticker marks on the windscreen and nothing stuck to the dash.

They look a bit untidy but don't move about even when the car is driven lets say progressively

We had one in a hire car on a trip to the USA and as a result of that I bought one when I was back over here - and I am still really impressed. I take off the Sat nav unit when I leave the car and put it in my pocket .... the 'bean bag'mount gets chucked in the boot.

Yeah thats it. I have to say I really didnt think it would work all that well but its nice to hear other wise.

Should be getting mine any day now.
