Folks,

Not sure if this is a known issue, but my Tom Tom One (old style) is behaving oddly. Although it has full battery, it won't actually start unless it's plugged in... Once it's on and running for a minute or two, you can unplug it and get the usual battery life - weird...

I'm assuming that if I wanted a new one I could simply buy a UK edition and slot my Europe card into it no hassle..? (probably wishing here..!)

Thanks smile

My Tom Tom One is kaput too frown

Battery has always been a bit dodge since I got it (second hand). Basically if I allowed the charge to run out and then re-charged it would'nt turn on until it had been charging for many hours, not even when it was connected to the charger - similar to the OP.

However now it won't turn on at all despite having been on charge for the last two days and charger showing greenlight for most of that. I think its really had it now.

Anyone know if its possible to have the battery replaced?

ETA - Well I've answered my own question via 5 seconds on Google hehe Anyone bought batteries from these guys:
