Does anybody own one of these?

I currently have a Talex but the subscription has just ran out and a Tom Tom with Pocket GPS on it.

I think I am going to upgrade my camera detector and am pondering on the Road Angel Professional. However, I keep remembering when the Road Angel 9000 first came out it was billed as the most amazing thing ever but turned out to be a bit of a let down and I don’t want to buy the RAP if its another white elephant.

Ive still got the original RA Navigator and seem to be one of the few peeps who havent had any trouble with it so reluctant to change it.

I did enquire recently about an upgrade to the (iirc) Professional but I objected to having to pay again for the Euro map upgrade, so never took it any further.

Hi,

Road Angel Professional Connected is quite simply an amazing system, I have customers upgrading to this model every day.

I don't normally take Talex back as a trade-in, but email me, I'll do you a good deal.

Regards

Derek

Derek, sorry to hijack the thread, but I was looking at a Road Angel Plus and some say they're wonderful and others say the opposite. I notice Subaru offer them as an accessory so I'd hope they were a good bit of kit. What's your opinion? I appreciate the laser detection will probably only tell you you've just been nabbed and may be illegal soon anyway. I like the idea of a decent battery life so no need for dangling leads. Are the dash mounting pads removeable or would I need one for each car? And if removed, would they leave a mark?

Hi Nick,

No problem, Road Angel Plus is a good system, Professional is a set-up though. Your are correct about Laser. The battery life on a fully condition battery will be at least 6 hours. The dash mount you will need one for each car.

If you want a Plus let me know, I got some delivered today at a good price (email me)
