Personally i would look at the Pogo Alert is has everything to offer in terms of driver features and also with a very reliable camera database, its the one i use currently and i have been selling these things for the past 6 years smile. send me a email with your requirements and i will suggest what would be best for you.

You could also look at the Snooper Sapphire and Sapphire Plus S270. The latter is currently available with free sat nav. If you're on a budget the Snooper Evolution gives you all the information you need and is a personal favourite. All units use the Enigma Safety Camera Database. It's the most comprehensive in Europe and is updated daily. Best of luck.

to be honest the Garmin camera database is never going to be as reliable as a dedicated camera company they rely on open source data that is not updated regularly enough... thus its open for error i'm afraid...

I would suggest the pogo alert with laser attachment which MAY pick up laser scatter giving you advance warning of mobile sites as well however like most laser detectors there is no guarantee and you may only get alerted when targeted.

Hi, Has anybody any experience of the Pogo Drive?
Is the speed data as good and as detailed as the standard Pogo.

The pogo drives speed camera features and data is the same as the pogo alert, the only thing the Pogo Drive does not have is the plugin laser....

Have you loaded the software? If so plug in pogo via usb and switch on. Hit the pogo update shortcut new window opens. It should then have a pic of a pogo on the right and say connected?

Hit update.

If you have no charge on the pogo you will need to stick it in your car for 30mins or so to put a bit of charge into the battery as it does not charge off usb as yet so far as i am aware and has to be manually switched on when linkied via usb to update.

Any other q?
