TT 1 XL turns itself on...?

I have a TT 1 XL which was bought at xmas so 8 months or so old. We dont use it very often, just when needed so it spends most of its life in a drawer. We used it recently for a journey, we came home and left it on the sideboard.

While watching the olympics this weekend out of the corner I my eye TomTom had come to life and sat there telling me I am at home. I thought it strange, turned the unit off, and went back to the rowing. Low and behold a few hours later it comes back to life.

Either I have a ghost or TomTom has a mind of its own??

Anyone else seen similar behaviour?

I bought one 2 weeks ago and it still stays off.
You must have a ghost then. I'd get a priest in to exorcise it.
