I'm looking to buy a Pogo Alert, but severely dislike having things attached to my windscreen and am therefore looking to have the unit hard wired into the car (but out of sight of thieving scum).

Is it possible to have in hard wire installed, and do any current owners have any photos of their units installed in car?

I know you can have the power hard wired in but not sure about the device itself. Catch 22 though really as it will need to be visible to you and hence will be to crims and if they want it theyll have it no matter how secure. I am sure however you could hardwire it in with a little modification the the cradle.

I'm interested to see how others have theirs installed. I'm quite happy to take it in and out of the car, but I'd prefer not to have anything sticking to my windscreen, or stuck in the centre of the dash.

This was an install done by our installers.

Obviously you can either use the windscreen bracket or the dash mount.
