Got myself a go 910 and tonight had a play trying to connect the go with my bluetooth pioneer headunit.
No luck can't connect but it does connect with my phone.
Is there further settings in the tom tom?
And am i right you can only connect one bluetooth at a time.
Was hoping to play music through my headset BT Audio off the tom tom.
BT Audio connects to my phone and plays music off my phone.
Just can't get the headunit to connect to tom tom.
When my phone connects with the headunit i get a icon telling me but not with tom tom.

Not you again.... ;-)

I've got a TomTom530 and I have to say the bluetooth is about as useful as a chocolate kettle. I can pair the tom tom with my phone and it can get traffic updates, weather etc. So thats good. But try and use it for hands free calling and it just goes haywire. Audio goes off, map dislay slows down and you cant even turn it off. Only way to get it working again is to hit the reset button.

Having said all of the above, I dont own a bluetooth audio device thats compatible so cant check. On my 530 you go to speaker settings then can choose to have music and/or directions routed to your bluetooth audio device. I tried to pair this with my bluetooth headset (for directions while driving the chim) but it wouldnt have any of it, found the device but refused to pair grrrr

BT is a bit hit and miss - my 730 works great hands free via the tom tom, and it plays mp3's reasonably well via the fm link but it WILL NOT talk to the mobile data link at all and hence updates on the move, weather, buddies list etc don't work (and I've tried everything). Luckily its a good sat nav!!

Yep - I got similar short shrift from TT with my problem - not compatible, buy a new phone they said (rather than " sorry you are having problems with our product, leave it with us and we will sort something out for you" ...........)

shame eh? prevents you reccomending one doesn't it.
