I went across some railway tracks today, the screen went blank and it would not turn back on.
It was quite a bad crossingsmile

When I got home I reset it and it came back to life.
I was expecting it to wipe out my previous routes but it didn't!

My question.
As this thing got quite a jolt should I buy a new one?
Will it now be unreliable?

I don't use it often but when I do, I don't want it to fail.
(It's a "Tomton Go 300" if that makes a difference.)

nah they are generally fine - and need a reset every now and then... Not unusual for needing one every few months... depends on the software rev obviously... Great bits of kit but most TT owners get used to the reset routine (and for earlier models carry a paperclip in the car!)
