Is there a sat nav system that you can programme very specific routes into? For example, take the B4567 then turn right onto the A1234 then left onto the B4521 etc etc. These would be junctions rather than place names so I think it might be difficult to set a route with points like this.

you can set intinerys on tomtoms ... either by selecting points on the map or entering them in by name


its great for setting a specific route then emailing it to others on the run

It is much easier to set the itinerary on a TT by entering village names. It is quicker than any way of entering junctions. Generally you can select villages to persuade the device to.choose the route which you want. Another good approach is to create the route on a pc using the TYRE utility which allows you to click the points you want to include in your route on a cut down version of Google maps.
