Anyone using Garmin MapSource?

Is it possible to load POI's into MapSource? The Garmin POI Loader utility suggests that it is, but nothing is visible.

I have emailed Garmin but they don't respond (the bastids).

yeah it is you need to import them in the correct format, I'm not the same system anymore so can't remember the exact steps but with my garmin IQ using mapsource you could import POI via xls lists such as speed cameras etc. I customed one to give me junction numbers of m ways as it really bugged me not knowing the number just the road name and number again this was imporeted easily enough.

let me know which unit i'll look it up, you could try www.pdaworld.com go to the garmin IQ forum and search for POI IMPORT you'll prob find the stuff i did there as well as loads of others.
