Had a look over the previous 4 or 5 pages of posts and couldn't see anything, so apologies if this is an old question...

Just wondering what 'trust' levels people used with their Mapshares on their Tomtoms. I've always had mine 'Strict' but recently moved it to 'High', but my Tomtom still seems totally oblivious of some roads, junctions and roundabouts. If I were to set it to 'Medium', would I risk having a series of spurious corrections uploaded by some halfwit trying to direct me the wrong way down motorway sliproads, or into a dead-end in the middle of Deliverance country?

I have no wish for anyone to make me 'squeal'...

Cheers!

IIRC, I've got mine on medium, as the same error has to be reported by a good few people before it's used, and the others are ones verified by TT. I assume it uses your own corrections over others though.

They wont. The corrections are more to do with priority at junctions, speed limits etc. I dont believe you can add a roundabout, that requires a proper map update which are available monthly from tomtom for a nice fee.

You can report new/old roundabouts, however as has been said it doesn't use the mapshare part for that. The roundabout/junction updates are used to make the full map updates more precise - think of it as a cheap way for TomTom to make sure the maps are more current than the 2 years out-of-date ones they used to sell.
