Sat Nav make/model advise please.

Hi Guys, I'm in the proces of changing my car and loosing my built in sat nav. I've never really used any of the aftermarket systems before so any advice would appreciated on which ones to look at above others.
I'm after UK and Mainland EU Maps, Traffic jam info/re-route, and speed camera positions.
Also - can anyone comment on any paid subscription requirements if there is any.

I've only had it a couple of days, but thus far I can't fault my cheapo Garmin nuvi 205(T). Safety cameras are an additional subscription with a one month free trial. I'm enjoying the trial but I believe it's £30 p.a. once that's finished. I don't have it yet but there is a traffic receiver you can add to alert you of hold-ups and jams ( click).
I don't doubt there's way better kit out there but this does everything I need. So far it's a big thumbs up from me.

I've got the Garmin 205 WT (about £117 from Halfords other shops should price match) I thought the "W" was for widescren & "T" for traffic? (I may be wrong)
So far it seems fine, tends to warn of scamera sites after I've seen the signs.
Not so keen on the in car power cable which is a bit chunky, though this contains the traffic receiver.

I bought mine from Halford's too but there's definitely no traffic johnny, just the charging/fag-lighter lead. As you have it, do you reckon it's worth the c. fifty quid it costs?
ETA. Just had a look at the Halford's website - they do indeed offer bundles which makes it far cheaper. Ah well, c'est la vie.
