TomTom HD Traffic in the UK
Discussion
Search facility is down so I cant check if this has already been discussed...
I have a TomTom GO 530 and subscribe to the traffic system with data via GPRS on my mobile. Its a bit hit and miss to be honest. Not *quite* a waste of money but it does tend to lag behind real world activity, and it often doesnt know when roads are closed (like the M40 for example!).
Now I know TomTom are bringing out an HD traffic adapter for the 530 , I was wondering is anyone already using HD (on an x40 model) and what its like ?
Cheers

Using it on a 3 month free trial with a 940. Seems to be reasonable but I've only had it for a few days. It reports delays where I would expect there to be delays and seems to update reasonably quickly. The jury's still out on whether I'd pay for it or not, got to see how it performs over the next couple of months.
