The software updates Tom Tom units to give much better speech warnings of camera sites, not all Tom Toms will except the update but the trial is free and if the software does not work it will not make any changes to the unit..

I good software, better alerts than the std TT ones. Updates are free but you pay yearly. Nice thing is you can try before you buy, which is a great way of seeing if its for you.

Until I cancelled it recently I was still getting emails from them after a previous SatNav where I used their database. Wasn't bad as I recall, and free then.
However I never could understand why they always gave detailed directions to their SatNav conference venues instead of posting the co-ordinates...
