I was on holiday last week and sent my apprentice to deliver some keys to a site in Stamford hill North London.
'you have been there before with me remember' I said 'if you are not sure take the Tom Tom'. Got back today to find he put Stamford in the sat Nav and ended up in Linconshire ( I am based in Watford ) 3hour 300mile round trip on his 125 bike.

Laughed my B**ll***ks of and am now going to take the P for at least a year!

Question is how wrong has the sat nav sent you before you realised?

I was trying to get to Brackley once (which is a bd route from where I live) and the road that my steam-powered Jaguar sat-nav found was about 10 miles from the one I wanted (which was built after the sat-nav's VHS tape or whatever it works from). However it was impossible to know this until I realised I was heading the wrong way, phoned for help and just got to the christening in time...

When we were in the US we left NYC and headed for a town in upstate NY, we typed it in and set a course only to realise an hour later then we had actually selected a town with the same name in Texas.

Averaging 100 mph on a 125 is impressive.
