Navigon 4310 Max - Traffic Update Settings Help Please

I received the above sat nav system form Father Christmas and am generally very pleased with it, however, I am unable to get it to receive traffic updates.

I have turned the traffic update setting on (I believe) and can see that it is tuning to various radio frequencies, but there is a red TMC symbol in the top right of the screen when in the main navigation mode.

I have set re-routing to automatic, but I am not being re-routed when hitting traffic that is being broadcast on the radio.

Can anyone help please?

Ah, although I have the ability to receive traffic updates and re-route as a result, it's a service I have to pay for and doesn't come with the unit as standard - bloody cheek.

Having bought and paid for traffic updates and safety camera locations 10 days ago, I am still to receive my activation code.

The Navigon help pages all come up in a foreign alphabet for contact details. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
