Is it recharging?
Discussion
I have a TomTom One that's not been used for a while so will be totally flat.
I connected it to Tom Home via USB and it's spent an hour downloading stuff - but there's no indication that it's charging. Does it charge automatically as soon as it's connected or do I have to do this in-car? Ta!

HI Mate, I've sort of gone through the same thing with a new tomtom xxl iq. I just guessed that by plugging it into the usb port it would charge, but I don't think it does. Spent all afternoon with it plugged in and then when had it set up in the car and clicked it on, the battery still showed pretty dead.I connected it to Tom Home via USB and it's spent an hour downloading stuff - but there's no indication that it's charging. I can't stand having wires trailing through the car so went on Amazon and bought a mains charger, delivered for about £11.00 I think.
Hope that helps.

In fact when I unplugged and replugged it, I then got the option of connecting to the computer or not, and when I chose no, it behaved as normal and I could see the charging indicator - so I think it's OK after all.
