help using the Itinerary planning function in Tomtom
Discussion
I will be using my tomtom at weekend for a jolly out round london. I have an Itinerary file which I have loaded into the device and I understand how to select it which takes me to the first waypoint.
My question is do you need to mark off each way point as you visit them or will it do this automatically as you follow the directions? (viewing the route shows it as one long list of instructions)

Hi Shep - I'm going as well and haven't a clue how to download the itn. file that you-know-who supplied. If you work it out can you let me know - either here or give me a phone (I'll PM my number). I need to know by 4.00pm as me and SmallTorque are going to London and staying over tonight.
The Tomtom will automatically cross off the waypoints when you pass them. You don't have to do anything.
To load itinerary files, connect the Tomtom to the computer, double-click the the Tomtom icon in Windows Explorer or OS X Finder and place the .itn file in the directory named "itn". Then in the Tomtom select "Itinerary planning" from the menu, then "Options" then "Load itinerary". You should be able to select the itinerary you just loaded.
Good luck.
