Tomtom updating maps question

Hi all,

I have just bought a new TT 750 go live, I have a 3 year old TT 910.

TT Home wants to charge me £55 to update the maps on my old 910. Can I just copy all the files from the new 750's 'Europe' folder into the 910's 'Europe' folder. Wouldnt that just replace the 910's with the newer 950's files so I'd have the latest maps?

Unfortunately, no. The map software is linked to the specific device, so simply copying the new maps folder will give you an error message when you reboot the 910.
