Apologies if it's a pearoast, and for the fact it's from the mirror hehe

mirror article said:
The booming voice of Brian Blessed will soon be roaring out sat-nav orders.
Blessed, 73, known for his colourful commands as the King in TV's Blackadder I, will now be shouting at drivers to TURN LEFT!! or FORK RIGHT!!
The idea follows a campaign by Richard Gardner, a big fan of the star. He contacted manufacturers TomTom and they said he had to prove there was enough interest.

So the IT consultant and a couple of pals set up a Facebook group, which soon attracted 25,000 members. That was enough to persuade TomTom to give the go-ahead.
Richard, 38, of Delph, near Oldham, said: "I thought it would be cool if Brian Blessed shouted directions at you. He's been great and well up for it."
Brian said: "I am thrilled to bits. I plan to do a great job."
When Brian tells you to take the 2nd right, you take the 2nd right hehe

Does he need to shout? 'Normal' is more than enough for most people and 'whisper' can be heard 3 counties away. Great idea though, have to look out for a download.

Ah yes - there was a thread on here about a year ago, about it - calling for people to sign up - to make that 25k number smile

But it's a bit of an old story; as they agreed a few months ago to do it confused

"BD from Z-Victor 1!"

As PC 'Fancy' Smith, Brian Blessed didn't really need a radio - they could quite easily hear him right across Seaport and Kirkby Newtown without.

Well Fancy that! (see what I did there)

Watched that as a kid, elder bro being a traffic copper driving a Zephyr.

But never knew that they made so many episodes.

Depending on where you read they made up to 799 episodes.

Season 6 was a belter, 416 episodes. What... The... F!!!

must admit the Gordon's alive post earlier made me chuckle. Have a rofl
