Need serious help with tomtom SD card.

Ordered an SD card for USA on NOV 29th from tomtom website.Delivered today DEC 14th. Card suitable for GO 20 / 30 /40. I have a 720. Have followed instructions to letter and cannot install. Is there a number I should be typing in otherwise people would lend cards to anyone? Any help would be much appreciated as off to states in two days.

Richard, What is the application version number of the software installed to your device? to find this tap the sat strength meter lower right corner followed by the version box, the current latest is 8,351 if its not this then it might explain why its not working.

I take it you tried inserting the card to the SD slot inthe base of the device and went to Change Preferences/ Manage Maps/ Switch maps, if so was the North America map not listed? - Mike

Turned out to be a faulty card. Not impresseed with the delivery service also. Ordered on 29/11 and arrived on 14/11.Have now downloaded maps onto a 4gb card which was a much cheaper option in the first place. Have learnt a lot from this experience and thanks very much in my hour of need. Cheers
