Directional voice instructions are good but I can't hear them with radio on (even at low volume) or heater fans/air con on.

Is there a button/menu to increase the volume? I wasn't able to find it, under settings found mute button, that was all.

Had this device for a few days, and got on pretty well.
Camera locations were outdated though, perhaps needed a subcription

Semes there's a volume control settings somewhere, there's a reset thing too.

You tap somewhere on the bottom of the screen and then slide the slider to the right.
I can't remember where you tap on the screen, just tap along the bottom.

Tap lower left corner to get the volume slider.

Go to Change Preferences/ Volume preferences and try it with the option to link volume level to vehicle speed (or noise level) turned OFF - I know turning this checkbox off sounds wrong but the software doesn't work properly and its often much louder with this option deselected - Mike
