Advice Please - Sat Nav for Euro Trip and Mac Compatible

I am planning a trip to the Ring in the summer....in.......see my profile Whats the view on a Sat Nav that good for European Trips.....it needs to be compatible with my Apple too.

I'm using a TT730 and it works fine for my trips.

I want to upgrade to one of the new 1000 series TomToms but I'm waiting until they put back all the features they've removed with the new software (rushed out incomplete in an attempt to get the TT1000 out for the Christmas sales period last year).
