i bought this sat nav becuase it was highly rated by Which. i had my revious SAT nav for four years and had good services from it until it died completely and i was advised to get a new one.
I have had this Garmin model for two months. And i am not happy. It does not let me preview the route so that i can request an alternative. Consequently i have had several journies where i have been taken actross country up and down tiny country lanes, when a slightly longer route would have used more major roads and ,to me, have been much safer. It glitches and gets "stuck" so that by the time i have reached the turn off, i have already gone by and have to go further up the road to come back. Otherwise it gives the instruction to turn far too soon, and i am trying to work out which turn off it really meant. Furthermore it occasionally "sticks" so that i can not turn it off, or GPS is offline, so i have to reset by holding down the "on" button. In four years I never had such problem with the other model of satnav, and wished I hadn't read the Which report.
So Garmins STILL love narrow country one track lanes!!! One day!!Shame.

I have had a 3760T (more or less the same unit less 3D buildings and voice control) for a week but never used it as it simply doesn't work in any sort of useful way. It does have a route preview but you can't use it as it has pink lines (which should be the route) all over it flashing around and obliterating whatever it's trying to display. When entering text it randomly decides to repeat or ignore characters, you have to change the country to navigate to Cardiff FFS. It also claimed that there wasn't room for the updated map even though it was straight out of the box?
I had to persevere with my trusty old TT720 complete with random restarts for a recent business trip.
It's going back today and swapped for a new TomTom. Even with the issues being reported on their new units they have to be better than this. This was a move back to Garmin after TomTom but it was clearly a mistake and not one I'll make again.
