84 effing scameras in one journey.
Discussion
I just thought I'd share this with you !
I don't know what this country is coming to, but I've had reason to travel to County Durham, from Worcester, twice in the last few days.
When I went up on Saturday, I thought there were a lot of scameras, so on my trip today, I thought I'd try to count them.
33 on the way up, 51 on the way down, so 84 in total, route was M5, M42, A42, M1, M18, A1/A1M, and vice versa
I also saw three Police patrols.
Add to that variable speed limits, hard shoulder running, cycle lanes, advanced stop lines for poxy cyclists, bus lanes with different rules/times of operation in every area
Given that I only have to annoy 4 of these scameras in a 3 year period and I'm on the dole, and all the other crap they give you to read, bus lane details, car p
s off lanes, car share lanes, congestion zones, tfl in poxy London, are "they" really making roads safer ?
