Volvo C30 auxiliary belts

I have a 2007 C30, 5 cylinder, 2.4i, 175hp.
Nasty squealing noises from the engine when cold &/or damp. I'm guessing belts, pulley bearings or perhaps water pump could be on the way out? If all of the above, I'm reasonably good at spannering, but not sure if I can arsed. Any ideas on independent garage sort of costs on these things?

Hard to tell with the number of variables you have put there.

Could be £30 for a belt or £500 for an alternator or anything in between depending on the actual issue.
