XC90 Seat Removal

It would really help my Labrador if we could remove the near-side middle row seat, he struggles to jump in via the boot.

I guess there will be electrics to be sorted for the seatbelt SRS system and that that could be programmed out by a dealer? The car is due in for a service July so will ask them before then,

Anyone else done this, anything else to consider? Car is a MY2021 XC90 T8.

I suspect it'll be a faff and will depend on how good you are with electronics/prepared to meddle.

Have you considered a foldable ramp?

I don’t think a dealer would program that out for you as it’s all part of the ‘Volvo Safety System’ You will need to fit a resistor of the correct capacity to ensure the light doesn’t trigger.
