mirrors for model cars etc?

got a 1/15 model on the go , its big enough that metal foil /chrome tape will not look perfect

is there anything thats like real mirror but thin? im thinking maybe like a cd ?

I'm not a modeller.... but a thought....

You can buy cheapie dental inspection mirrors from Boots I think. The material used in the mirror is very thin and not glass - it could be prised out and cut to shape I would have thought.

What about using metal foil covered in the type of very thin glass/plastic you find on picture frames? Or even the type of plastic used to laminate paper?
