TAMIYA M-03 MINI COOPER RC CAR 1/10
Discussion
Just won this Mini RC car on Ebay as a little project to strip down, have a fettle, re-build, race, crash, strip down etc....
According to the seller the shell of the car is in a bit of a mess and could do with replacing, so before i go out and buy another does it have to be a mini, it says on the WWW that it rolls on an 'M' chassis, does that mean i can go out and pick any shell that fits an M chassis, i dont mind the mini but if i came across a MK2 escort or a RS500 shell the mini will have to stay on the shelf..

Yeah, that's a pretty good guide. If you want to race yours the first thing you'll need is an ESC to replace that 3-step mechanical one. After that go tyres, shocks and see how that feels. I went a bit anal with mine, buying super-lightweight everything so I could run chassis weights (to make the class minimum weight) lower down and further to the rear of the chassis to help with understeer. If your local club has a mini class (most do) then you'll find loads of help and advice there.http://www.adurrc.org/index.php?option=com_content...
