I'm currently building a 1/12th Tamiya Ducati 916, and I have to say I am loving the amount of detail and the precision of the kit. This is the first bike I have built, I think it's safe to say there will be more following.

So come on, let's have a thread about model bikes. I will put up pictures when it's done.

I know this ISN'T what you mean, but I just couldn't resist

I think this is fabulous

From Scalemodelworld today

(reminiscences... I did once convert an Airfix Ariel Leader into an Ariel Arrow. Nice, but long gone into history)

That's a Kashimax Aero, coolest looking seat ever made. I have one on one of my (real) builds.

Good find that.

I recently bought two pushbike kits. One's a Sprinter*, in 1/8 scale by Academy.
The other's a Shine Star STS-5B*, by Otaki in 1/6 scale.

It'll be a while before either is completed though, because the figures that are gooing to be posed with them are quite involved.

  • No I don't know what these names mean, I know even less about these than I do about motorbikes - and that's saying something.
