Best ready to run rc boat straight out of box
Discussion
Hi guys
After alot of begging, doing extra chores for the wife, she has finally agreed to let me buy my first rc boat
So what is the best rc boat out there, brushless power , straight out of the box, preferably with remote etc.
I've contemplated the new traxxas spartan but struggling to find any in the Uk, and it's had some negative reviews. Has anyone here got one, or knows who has them available.
Check out traxxas spartan on you tube.
I'm new to boats but have nitro , petrol rc cars and helis so boats is something new. I wanted to get into it a few years back but getting married and baby on the way has set me back a tad. Lol. I do fancy the traxxas but really not sure, I like it because it's ready to run and requires very few mods. I've got till march next year as baby should make its appearence , and I know the wife will change her mind again... Women hey..
sO
Any suggestions
Web sites
I want something with balls.. So 40-50 miles per hour
Locations in London
Help a guy out
Cheers

We looked at this some years back.
Basically if you want big speed you need to spend big bucks!!
We decided that Petrol ( 2 Stroke ) ie not Nitro were best, for length of run and reliability.
Then for good speed you need a Catamaran style hull.
Have a look at something like this:

Of course if you want real speed then look at this, which is on my wish list:

Hi
Thanks for your reply
But I'd rather not go down the nitro route
Like the idea of brushless power
Thanks for the advice though

You can get a brushless version on the MHZ Mystic, but it will be pricy!!
Best of luck with your choice.
