There seems to be fewer shops selling matchbox cars currently, there is eBay but I was interested in going to toy fairs/ model shows has anyone had any experience ?

I don't collect Matchbox size cars , but i have seen a lot being sold at Toy Fairs.

New , Vintage and Lesney etc...

There is a toy fair in Maidstone every month or so. The models tend to be older matchbox, corgi etc and quite expensive but they are generally in great condition!

I picked up some very cheap scalextric stuff a few years ago!

Bit of a trek for you to come down from Lincolnshire though!
