There's a model shop in frome at teh top of catherine hill. At least there was last time I was there

You could also do worse than checking the timetables of the fleet air arm museum, they seem to have frequent model workshops / shows.

As far as I'm aware, Frome Model Centre no longer deals with rc cars, my dad purchased all his old HPI stock recently.
