is it worth anything?

Just wondered if there was anyone in here that can tell me if a car model I have received is going to be worth much, with it being a old touring car and with not getting much response in the model section, I thought I would ask in here too.

I got it from a family friend who was high up in ICS back in the day when they used to sponsor the BTCC Mondeo's. It's a 1:43 scale, racing replica model of the 93 Mansell Mondeo touring car. It says limited edition 1 of 7500 and I've never taken it out the box.

As I have no idea on car models and I'm desperately trying to scrape together every penny to finish my track/future race car, is this model going to be worth any money or shall I leave it back on display on the shelf?

I have sold similiar in the past and on a good day on the bay it might make forty notes...

Suggest you start your listing at £20 and see how it goes from there...

The price of 1/43 touring cars is pretty high at the moment, particularly for the older ones. You could well get £50 for that at least. Everytime I try to get an Ecurie Ecosse Cavalier it goes for £70-£80!
