Converting a Bruder scania tipper to RC?
Discussion
Well I've seen some stuff on youtube and it seems entirely possible!
most of it is in germany etc.
There are some proper RC construction equipment but its a minimum of 2000quid for a second hand one rising up to 11,000 euros for one made of metal and hydraulics which is insane! for examples, search scaleart and wedico models.
Bruder models are on the other hand incredibly robust, detailed and cheap! Im sure it can be converted to RC for much less than the proper RC ones.
but I'm not knowledgeable on the RC internals.

You might find what you're looking for on these two web forums. There's certainly loads about converting the diggers.

This Spanish website has a video of the Scania converted to Electric / hydraulic operation. They also sell components to do the conversion yourself or ready converted but still relatively expensive ready built.

Looks fascinating, let us know how you get on.
