Hi
Will minichamps ever do an Alonso Ferrari 1/18 model? I have a nice but small collection of F1 cars and really wanted a Ferrari but I do not want to mix and match my collection with different model makers!
I have seen the hot wheels ones but that will look odd in the middle of my other cars and they seem expensive so minichamps only for me!
some stupid license agreement I suppose or Ferrari want a fortune? such a shame though and it has kind of put a downer on my minichamps collection!
bds smile
received my Senna/Mansell model a few weeks back, my favourite so far smile

Doubt Minichamps will do it, Mattel/Hot Wheels have the licences...

The Quality of the models recently have been getting better.. since 2010 they have been raising their game.
And unlike minichamps they appear to get the models out in the same year as the cars are competing..

This one is the basic mattel/Hot wheels for this year in launch spec:

I expect the Elite version will be miles better in the details (wheel rubber etc)
Some places ask silly money for them though!

I've given up buying diecast, simply can't justify having to spend £100 on a 1:18 or worst still £50 on the smaller 1:43 scale models.

I know we've had it too easy for far too long, but until the manufacturers move away from China and find another low cost country in terms of wages they will just keep going up in price frown

However, while the likes of AUTOart and Minichamps prices have more than doubled in the past few years, how come Corgi seem to keep their prices low?
