Just wondering what would be the cheapest Jet turbine to put into a FG Marder would cost, thanks.

Wren do one for about £1200. I think that's about as cheap as they go.

IMHO Jetcat all day. I've owned and run 4 without issue. P80SE should do nicely ;-)

Just seeing this thread, i will have to dig out the photos of the FG racing truck i turned into a jet truck, it was awesome.
The biggest problem was rigging it in a way that the CofG was stable and speed and installing the turbine so it doesnt either hoover the ground or require a whacking great hole in the shell, it can be done, we use a venturi filter to keep 99% of the dirt out and with fine tuning it would have been perfect.
Sadly i didn't have the time to use it so i had to sell it, it sold for 3X the cost of making it though thumbup

That is quite simply brilliant, if only I had £1600 loose change!

It's been done on an FG Marder, google Marjet and you'll come accross the build thread somewhere. Quite impressive to see it go, but forget about cornering lol
