Found 2 boxes of Hornby Dublo!
Discussion
I have just been up in the attic of our new house where I have located 2 boxes of Hornby Dublo lurking behind the cold water tank. Briefly checked with the old occupants who stated it wasn't theirs.
There is quite a bit of it and some decent engines & locomotives in good condition. I plugged it in a gave it ago and it works well for a 50 year old toy.
I am wondering what will be the best way to sell it. My old man popped up to have a look and thought there was close to £500 worth of stuff there if I can sell it to the right people.
Any one have any ideas on where to look in order to sell it?
Thanks!

These guys have got an Auction of model trains including Hornby coming up on the 19th. You could look after the sale to see what prices they went for.

They should also be able to help you with pricing and selling your stuff if you wish. They regularly feature in the antiques press and have live online sales at their auctions so can reach a worldwide audience.

Buy "Railway Modeller Magazine" next issue was out either on the 8th Nov or 15th Nov which has all the information that you will need.
The Hornby models are the ones that people are into, not so much Triang.
