Is this any good? I've just remembered I had a ton of it as a kid that's probably still in my parents' loft. The question is, is it entertaining as an adult?

I'm trying to decide whether to dig it out and have a shot or not. I remember it being fast but quite easy to control. Can you still buy cars for it?

Same scale as Micro Scalextric, so while you can't buy Tomy cars you can still buy ones that will run on it.

It was the best!!! Whilst my mates all had full size boring Scalextric with a figure of 8 layout, I had the AFX with a Pug 205 T16 Rally car! If I remember correctly they were magnetic as well so you could do loop the loops, up the wall etc.

I remember, we used to create a double loop the loop which then lead to a jump (you didnt have to complete the track for it to work) which we would launch across the room! I seem to remember they broke quite easily (read - melt!) and was quite hard to find replacements.

Happy memories....

Actually you can still get Tomy cars.

Tomy AFX is still distributed in the US. Mega-G cars are the latest, and replace the Super-G range.

Cars are light to send from the US
