Seeing the "1950's Dinky Racers Restoration" thread encouraged me to post photos of some stuff we found when clearing F-I-L's place in Austria today.

This is a 1950’s child’s electric oven and rings running on 220 volts. My wife remembers burning herself on it when she got it as a Xmas present. I haven’t tried switching it on as the last thing I tried yesterday, a Grundig 2000 Betamax video recorder, went up in small flames and lots of smoke in the lounge.

Apart from that we found lots of old “Kleinbahn“ rail stuff from the 50s to admire. Not sure what we will do with it all yet.
