SAt next to a chap tonight at a dinner, and the conversation got around to Lathes. Myfords .
He has an ML7 but doesn't know much about how to work it. Said i had a Super 7 and would be able to go through a few things with him.

He then dropped the bombshell, he builds 1/6th scale TANKS!!!!out of metal, powered by 24v motors.
Showed me a few pics on his phone but i want to see these buggers close up.
Makes my loco look like OO gauge

Pricey? It's mental - I thought £695 was a bit steep........then I realised that was just the deposit! You wouldn't need to stump up that much more to get a real one. And that would be ready built.

From what i can gather this guy has built them (note.. THEM) from scratch. will get more info when he comes over. He also said that the barrel is the correct bore for a .410 shotgun cartidge!!
