Unfortunately both Mints have now been shut down, but weren't many of their models just little jewels?

Depends on your point of view, if you weren't a scale model collector then they were probably pretty good but if you were aware of the stuff put out by real model companies, they are a bit crude.

For some of us, the little Chinese diecasts were improving with details as time went by. It was even better when a member of your family worked for Franklin Mint and were able to procure them at bi-monthly sales at their HQ in PA for 10-15% of retail value. thumbup
