Apex models in Crowthorne, a bit pricy, and maybe a bit out if your area but good range of RC!

Chris, it's a while since I've been in there (gave up r/c flying about 18 months ago due family commitments) but the Swindon Model Centre is just within 30 miles of Newbury. Run by Rose and Yan, they're very helpful and carry most things.

I'm in Newbury and used Swindon a couple of times, but if you can push your boundary 7 miles then head up to Slough RC. A very complete shop with lots of range and stock.

That's Hobby Stores - it's not bad. A fair selection of stuff and reasonably helpful staff. Slough Radio Control models has more choice and better service.
