Brushless motor

So while the gear box is knackared on the stadium truck, I thought about replacing the whole lot with a brushless motor and metal gears. Where is best to get a gearbox and motor? I don't mind a bit of work to get something to fit, in fact, I think I'll quite enjoy it

Am I right in thinking I need a new speed controller?

I have a 4200mAh battery, will running a brushless motor give me less running time? Is it more inductive?
